MONUMENTAL VISIT- VELUTHAMBI DHALAWA ARCHEOLOGICAL MUSEUM ,MANNADY

 H H MM II TRAINING COLLEGE  conducted an academic visit to the Veluthambi Dhalawa Museum on 8th April 2022. It is situated at Mannady, pathanamthitta. It is a historical museum that preserves all the information , memories and artifacts related to Veluthambi Dhalawa. The museum was established on 14 January 2010. There is a big and glorious statue of Veluthambi Dhalawa in the frontyard. The museum contains ancient portraits, sculptures, utensils, tools , canons, war equipments,manuscripts etc. The main attraction was the ' chitra vadha koodu' which was an execution system used to punish criminals. There is also a coin collection section of the early times. This monumental visit helped us to enrich our knowledge on Travancore history and it was a great experience.

 Esperanza, the English association conducted the world poetry day celebration today. Our classroom filled with poems. After the prayer there was a rhythmic and poetic news reading by Hanna. Nithya and Deva Nandana recited two beautiful poems. After that there had a game section. A funny game section that explored the ideas in everyone. They framed poems and dialogues according to the images that shown in the projector. Fathima won the prize. After that there had an announcement about the winner of the poem reciting competition. Anna won the prize. Everyone who participated in the game got gifts for their active participation. It was a beautiful programme and everyone enjoyed it.  A poem writing competition also given. Its time due ends tommarrow. After that English team will announce the winner.

Teaching practise week 8

 This was the last week of our teaching practise. We conducted conscientization on this week.  On monday I had 5th period. It was a revision class.  On tuesday I conducted achievement test on 8D. I got substitugion classes.   On wednesday we conducted conscientization programme.There were many substitution classes for us.  On thursday there was a debate combetition conducted at IT lab based on the topic "is tourism an advantage or not?".There was a substitution for 8D on 5th period.  Friday was our last day in the school. We express our sincere thanks to our head mistress, our mentor teachers other teachers and non teaching staffs and gave them a small treat. My children was so sad to leave me. They me chocolates, ring,hugs,kisses and their valuable feedbacks. Their eyes filled with tears when they hug me. It was an unforgettable day in my life.  Now I am waiting for the second phase of teaching practise.             ...
