 Today our college celebrated National Science Day and the programme was conducted by physical science department. There had a remembrance of KPAC Lalitha in the beginning of the programme. As a part of the programme they conducted poster making competition, photography competition and quiss competition. Aiswarya from English department got the first prize and Rahul from Maths department got second. They coordinated the programme very well.

  Our college was organized a field study trip at Arts and craft village and poovar Trivandrum. 49 students,teachers and Anil sir were a part of our field trip. We first reached at Arts and Craft village, Kovalam. We reached at 9:45 am. It was a beautiful and mind bloeing experience. We see many Arts and Craft works there. There are many cottages including art gallery,emporium, art and craft studios, auditorium,ornaments, handloom textiles etc. We saw many award einning eorks there. They provide many opportunities for the craftsmen and artists. It was a different and valuable experience.                                  We reached our second destination poovar backwaters. We enjoyed the beauty of nature there. We reached poovar island through boat. Boat facility is available there. We had lunch at a floating restaurant. It was an amazing experience.   Natural science association named "PETRICHOR" was inaugurated by smt.Savitha Vinod ,teacher and a poetess via online. Their logo was presented by our respectable principal Nimmi Varghese maam. Their decoration was plastic free. They decorated the hall with natural materials. The programme started with a beautiful welcome dance, a tribute to Balabhaskar, the famous violinist.They presented a documentary about the destruction of nature as a tribute to smt Sugatha kumari teacher. On the basis of the same theme they presented a drama. Popular film actors Tini Tom and Guru Soma Sundaram gave the felicitation address via online. After that they asked some questions and gave gifts to the winners. They gifted a plant to Nimmi miss. At last they together had an energetic dance. They executed the programme very well. They winded up their programme with national anthem.

 Our college H H M M II Training college conducted a two  day workshop  in the topic MiCRO TEACHING on 7/2/2022 and 8/2/2022.In the first day the programme was  started by the assembly of English Department. In the assembly we had one minute silent prayer in  rememberence of the music legend Lata Mangeshkar. Dr praveena miss and Soorya miss were the programme coordinators. The first section was handled by Roy sir the principal of B M M II Training college kottarakara. He gave a general introduction about micro teaching. The next section was handled by Dr Jhonson sir head of the English department. He discussed the topic " skill of introducing a lesson and skill of stimulus variation". It was a new area of knowledge for us. The third section was handled by Soorya miss. She discussed about "skill of explaining and skill of illustrating with examples ".
